Is This The Family Values Republicans Talk About?

"God is truly to be praised for Marsha Looper because she also has a homosexual son."so read an email that went out to supporters of Marsh Looper after she opposed civilian unions in Colorado. So instead of wanting her son to be happy, this woman wants to make sure that he can’t choose the person he spends his life with? Unless of course he ‘changes’ for his mother and marries a woman, which can’t be done because being gay is not a choice!!!!  Unlike being a hate filled Republican, which you can change if you choose to!

Now to be fair to someone who wants to deny rights to me and my community, Marsha Looper is not pleased with her campaign right now. She released a statement that said she is fair game but that her family is not in the public eye, and so their private lives should not be discussed. On that note I actually agree with her, as long as she lives by that code for everyone and doesn’t just cry it for her but turns around and blasts President Obama’s children or something of that sort.

Here’s her statement: "I am disappointed that my campaign manager forwarded an email that would include any member of my family in policy discussions. My opinions, financials and policies are appropriate discussions for the campaign, however my family members' personal lives are not a legitimate avenue for my campaign, or any other campaign to discuss."
