I admit it Gossipers, Fifty Shades of Grey is on my reading list. It's waiting for me to pick up and read it, some nights I swear it taunts me because I'm trying to get through the rest of my list. My roommate is reading it and tells me about it, and we often talk about what the movie version, who should star in it.
Apparently both Robert Pattinson and the uber-sexy Ian Somerhalder are both vying for the part of Christian Grey. Christian as most of you know is a sexually dominant romantic hero in the book, and is based on Robert's twilight character Edward. You would think that would make him a shoo in for then role, but producers recently let Rob know that they are in talks with another hunky vampire; Ian.
As you can imagine this did not sit well with Rob. “Christian Grey is the hottest character in fiction – and on women’s bedstands – and Rob wants the role badly, especially if Kristen’s in the picture." When I do read the book, I think I would prefer to imagine Ian as Christian if no other reason than I have crushed on that man ever since he appeared in Rules Of Attraction. The scene where he jumps around in his underwear, OMG!!!! I'm getting hot thinking about it.

Forget Robert, i'd go with Ian. just because he played in twilight doesn't mean anything, making him the lead role in any movie means ur losing millions of possible fans, i for one am i twilight hater, and wont watch anything that has to do with the actors who stared in it. But im a huge Ian fan, how can i not be he's damn sexy, and the fact is he's the one who i would imagine as the sexy lead not some twinkling twilight fag... sorry but that role ruined robert's chance at being sexy.
all i can say is if they choose ian, i'll be watching. but if they choose robert....well i just hope they can rid him of the twilight rep... no one can take a twilight can seriously.
