If I Wrote Soaps....

If I Wrote Soaps the stories would look alot like the one being told on One Life To Live!! Even when they tell a clunker of a story (*coughwhokilledEddieFordcough*), man they make up for it with killer twists and they use almost every character on their canvas. Which makes glad that the rumor of Ron Carvalti headong over to General Hospital after OLTL wraps all the better, heres how I would have written their recent unbrella story!

As we all know Jake was hit by a car, and was suppose to lead to Rebecca Herbsts exit. However fans won out and Becky got to keep her job. I would have still had a car hit Jake, but had him on life support. Liz, Lucky, and Jason all have different ideas of what should happen to the boy. Liz wants to keep him alive any way they can, Lucky wants more testing done, and Jason thinks its inhumane to keep the child alive by way of machines. As they fight amongst themselves, each goes to court to get their own way. Jason goes to old reliable Alexis, who is conflicted about representing him because she actually feels for Liz, while Liz goes to another popular lawyer Dianne. Dianne refuses to be involved in the case because it hits too close to home for her, and its revealed that a similiar situation occured in her family. Friends Alexis and Dianne try to talk to the feuding parents to no avail.

Meanwhile, Luke hits the bottle harder, grieving for his lost love Laura, and his grandson. As he spirals out of control, current wife Tracey begins to worry more and more about him. She asks her father for advice, Edward He says he warned her, and is of no help, so Tracey then talks to Sonny about the issue. He agrees with her but just as they are about to do something about it, they all learnthat his ex wife Carly's baby girl Josslyn is sick.

Sonny rushes to be by Carly's side, much to the chagrin of wife Brenda. As Carly and Sonny try to break the news to their sons Michael and Morgan, Jax bonds with Brenda. The former fiance's kiss, as Sonny and Carly finally are able to tell their sons whats going on with the baby. The family bonds, but a drunk Luke stumbles in, after witnessing the kiss between Brenda and Jax...
