I picked up the book "One for The Money" by Janet Evanovich and I have to say that I am really enjoying it so far. For the first time since "27 Dresses" I want to see a Katherine Heigl film, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Her movies are either really good or really bad, there doesn't seem to be an in between for her in that regard.
As I'm reading the book, I am imaging the cast and I have to say that I think they nailed a few of the characters so far. The one that jumps immediately to my mind is Grandma Mazur, who is being played by Debbie Reynolds. Fun fact, I love Debbie Reynolds and wish that she would get more work, damn you Betty White! IN any case, I can see Debbie really making this role a riot to watch! Memo To Self: Create a riotous Grandma!!!
As for Stephanie Plum, well I have to say that Katherine Heigl would not be my first choice, that honor would go to Ann Hathaway but I think Katherine is the best choice. From the few movies I have seen with her in them, I can see this being Katherine's new signature role. Stephanie is a girls girl but she has enough spunk to keep her from being annoying, and the story surrounding her helps develop the character. She doesn't just become a good bounty hunter, she learns along the way! It always irritates me when someone changes careers and is automatically good at what they do.
With that I am hoping to be able to see this movie when it comes out! If I can expect a full review later this month!
