It's a time honored tradition for me to sing the wrong lyrics to songs. For the longest time when I sang along to Britney Spears' "Gimme More" I sang the lyrics "Even up against the war" even though apparently the real lyric is "Even up against the wall." In any case, the lovely and talented Michelle Branch put a status on her Facebook "I overheard my daughter singing the Foster The People song Pumped Up Kicks only her lyrics were: “All the little kids with their bumped up kicks, you better run run run, faster than you wanna” Maybe I’ve found my new songwriting partner? What’s your favorite misheard lyric?"
