Susan Lucci has never been one to speak out on controversies, unless there was something that really needed to be said and she was the only one who was able to say it. Well now with All My Children's alleged shelving, blame is being placed everywhere form the woman herself to Vincent Irizarry not signing (which the man himself also is not true) , to Prospect park just not having the money to launch both shows at the same time. We can scratch Susan not signing on for AMC 2.0 off as one the reasons not to, "I want my fans to know the truth. There has been miscommunications as a result of statements in the press that I am one of the reasons that All My Children is not moving forward. This is simply untrue and not the case," In fact Susan says that she'd be more than happy to sign on the dotted line, "We have been in discussions since Prospect Park first expressed interest in moving the series online, and in correspondence dated September 8th, I made it clear that I would be ecstatic to be a part of All My Children in a prominent way if they committed to producing the series for another year." The divine miz Lucci also revealed on her Facebook page that she has not had the luxury of hearing the the show was being benched for a while from Prospect Park but she heard it through the grapevine like we have "I have not heard back from Prospect Park since then, in fact, I learned of their decision not to proceed with All My Children at the same time you did, through the media."
