It's just plain sad when someone can't stop talking about a person they claim they can't stand. Such is the case with Levi Johnston and Sarah Palin. Last week, he was going on and on about how people around him think that Sarah had a "cougar crush" on him. This week he can't shut up about Sarah announcing that she will not be running for President.
Phew. I am so happy about that, though it does worry me that many considered her a front runner. Be that as it may Levi too is relieved "Maybe I can sleep better at night knowing that somebody like that isn’t running my country. She knew she had no chance of winning." He also says that he doesn't believe that she will be putting family first "That’s ridiculous. Unless Sarah changed… she's never done that before… that's clearly not it."
He also compares their careers and their quitting. He says it was OK for him to not seek the position of Mayor of Wasilia because he is young but Sarah quit the entire state after just one year and that is not OK "I pulled out of the mayor’s race at the age of 20 years old. It’s a little different than becoming a governor and quitting Alaska after a year. I quit long in advance. I was not qualified for it. I grew up there. My son is going to grow up there. All I can do is help and try and help." Hmm I'm thinking that there is a reason why he can't stop talking about Sarah, maybe her "cougar crush" was reciprocated?
