Soap Legends Put Brian Frons On Notice

Lesson One; you never make a diva angry. Apparently Brian Frons never heard of this rule because not only did he gain the ire of soap fans everywhere by canceling All My Children and One Life To Live, but now he has turned soap legends Erika Slezak, Agnes Nixon, and Susan Lucci against him.

Agnes says: "I know. As Alvina Krause used to say, 'It is to laugh.' It seems an odd choice. I think the name is — what are they chewing?" Yep what we all thought about the show replacing our beloved soap.

Erika Says: " I think that Brian Frons, the head of ABC Daytime, doesn't believe in the genre. He never believed they could last. My biggest objection is ABC saying people don't want entertainment anymore; they want information. That's ridiculous. People always want entertainment."

Susan Says: "I don't have the answers, but I certainly have a lot of questions," says the star. 'Was there disdain for daytime drama on the part of [ABC Daytime chief] Brian Frons? Did he every really like what we did at All My Children?"

It should also be noted that in Susans memoirs paperback edition, she will reveal things about AMCs cancellation. It is also expected that she will talk about a phone call Anne Sweeney and what she really thinks of Brian Frons.
