Tom Refunds A Couple

Tom Hanks has long had a reputation as being the nicest guy in Hollywood, this story just makes that reputation much more concrete. While he as pumping gas recently, Tom was recognized by a lady and her husband, who the night before had seen his movie with Julia Roberts, "Larry Crowne". When the lady told him as much, he asked how they liked it, the lady's hubby answered “Well, not that much. In fact, it wasn’t very good.” The lady tried to soften the blow but it didn't work. Tom being the man that he is, reached into his wallet and gave the couple their money back. “Gee, I’m really sorry you were disappointed. How about letting me refund your ticket money?” See this why he has had such a long career in Hollywood, he doesn't take himself too seriously.
