Memories Of Mandy
by Sara Spears
When Mandy was a young child, she thought that the fireworks going off were in celebration of her birthday, not for the real reason of the fourth of July. I am surprised she hasn't written about that in her column yet. That enthusiasm follows her to this day, reading her column is such a joy as she relives some of her favorite moments in her life. She is growing so much through the column it is a wondrous sight to be hold.
When I used to babysit her, she was in the afternoon kindergarten class. One day she kept changing outfits, trying to find the one she lookedcutest in, I kept calling her the wrong granddaughters name. Frustrated she stormed into the room and came out with her name tag pinned on her shirt.
