Last year I was disenfranchised with Pride, there was no excitement in me for the event that is like a holiday to me. This year is different, I don't know if its me or the fact that the event will be held in a new venue but I am all sorts of geeked about Pride this year. As you read this I am out there, with half naked boys, having the time of my life. I'll try to get some pics to share with you guys tomorrow!!
Even before the new year started I was counting down until this very special day. In fact it was the first thing i told my boss when I went back to work, that I would not be working this weekend. Then came the announcement that Pridefest would be held in Detroit proper instead of the suburb it is usually held and viola, the adrenalin kicked in full throttle. Its not that I don't love Ferndale I do, but in Detroit there seems to be more endless possibilities. Maybe there can a side for the families and a side for the rest of us debauched folk, you know those of us who want to participate in lube wrestling and what not.
Sure, sure some of you are rolling your eyes at me right now. Thinking to yourselves, geez overshare much? My answer to that question in your mind is no, I don't. Maybe you guys don't want to know that I like to watch 2 men half naked, wrestling but I do. I am not ashamed to admit it, there is just something very sexy about that, the only thing better would be if they were fighting over me. Yes pride is about more than hormones racing at the speed of light, and I am all for that side too but let me have some fun.
You all know that old saying all work and no fun makes Royal a very dull boy indeed.
