House Fans Brace Yourselves

Alright House fans, you will not be happy about this, please know that I take no pleasure in relaying this news to you but I feel you must know. TVline is reporting that Lisa Edelstein will not be a apart of the shows 8th and now very likely final season. Producers had been trying to secure a deal with the star but apparently she decided that now was the right time for her to move on from the hit Fox show. The actress released this statement “After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.” There rumors that part of the reason could be because the show is tightening its belt, and may have asked her to take a pay cut. Though that has yet to be confirmed, it is very likely, at least part of the reason Lisa has chosen not to come back next season, as House is undergoing budget cuts for next year.
