If the rumors of Whoopi leaving The View turn out to be true, then there may be just the person waiting in the wings to take over the role of Moderator. No I am not speaking of co-host Elizabeth Hasselback, who is rumored to be the front runner should Whoopi get fired or bolt after the end of this season. That would be a tragedy of epic proportions if you ask me, not because I disagree with her politics because I do but because she doesn't have the experience to back her up.
I also don't think that Joy Behar should take over, but she is on my short list for those who could. As much as I love Joy I think she would be spreading herself too thin and at this stage in the game she could probably have another talk show lined up, one of her own if thats what she wanted.
The woman I think should take over the moderating duties is very easy, and will make lots of sense once I tell you. She has co-hosted Entertainment Tonight for 30 years, has covered topics as varying as the OJ Simpson trial to whether or not Justin Bieber would ever cut his hair. Yep thats right I am talking about one Miss Mary Hart. Think about how perfectly she would fit in with the other ladies (read not well, and that would make great TV). We would get to see the spicier side of Mary, and she could bring a touch of class to the show.
I like my idea, but what's your view?

I've always been a fan of Mary Hart.She's still a beautiful woman inside and out and I think she'd be great....she's nice but would get her point of view said.But i hope Whoopie stays, because whether we agree with her or not, what you see is what you get .At least that's my opinion!
mmc, I love Whoopi, I really do! She keeps some of the sassiness that Rosie brought to the show, but also her own unique take on things which is what I appreciate about her
