Didja miss me Gossipers? Who am I kidding, of course you did. I would have done a column the last few weeks but I had to deal with the She Who Must Not Be Named situation. What happened was I was trying to relieve myself, and You Know Who happened to be In The Stall that I ran into, and suddenly I'm entering her bubble and violating her or something.
If she wanted to be violated she should watch that Real housewives with Camille Plastic or whatever. Is there anything natural on that woman? She looks like Kelsey Letterman or whoever that was on that show with the dog, you know the cute one that never got the top billing he deserved. Anyways she looks like a wax figure come to life, Everytime I get near here, I just want to take a pin and push it into her lip but am afraid that some judge somewhere will say I intentionally caused a flood.
Even though it wouldn't really be my fault, I say we blame Betty White. Everyone says this was the year of betty and their right. She was everywhere, I even think I wiped my booty with her face one day. Not literally of course, but I think she was on toilet paper or something. I can't keep track somehow she made Hannah Montana seem under represented on things.
You know what else was misrepresented in 2010? Justice. Mandy continues to be able to do whatever she wants while I have to watch myself and make sure not to step on her toes or anything. Which for the record I have never done, I never once set foot on her, well not her toes anyways. how was I to know that she was at the beach and her head wasn't a rock in my way. Maybe in 2011 she can put aside her jealousy of my fame and we can be friends once and for all.

Soap Sense: Primetime Edition
Best Storyline: Kurt Gets Bullied On Glee. When Glee gets a story right, they get it right on. Kurt has slowly become the heart and soul of the New Directions and when football players began bullying him for being gay, it made sense he would try to reach out to someone. Enter Blaine, quite possibly the best new character on any show. The pair is friends and Blaine is helping Kurt, and by extension learn to live courageously.
Best Couple: Keith and Bree, Desperate Housewives. pairing Marcia Cross with Brian Austin Green was pure genius. Following that up with a romantic, crazy, sexy story was the icing on the proverbial cake. Producers finally found the man whom Bree belongs with for the rest of the shows run.
Best Actor: Chris Colfer, Kurt Glee Much praise has already been heaped on this actor and rightfully so. He takes his Kurt from zany sidekick to leading man in the same amount of time it take Cory Monteith to show one emotion. Watching the New Directions practice or do just about anything without him shows just how much he adds to the group.
Best Actress: Courtney Cox, Jules Cougar Town. She can play emotion, funny and everything in between. Courtney has taken her Jules from being just a lonely, almost bitter divorced woman to a professional vital woman who happens to be a bit older. Now we see shades of Courtneys other iconic character Monica Gellar from Friends.
Best Drama Show: The Walkers have long been a staple on Sunday nights. In their fifth season though, they somehow brought the magic back. After going off the rails last year, they jumped forward a year. Killing off Robert gave Calista Flockhart some of the best material she has ever had. The writers gave Scotty and Kevin a realistic story of infidelity and Justin and Rebecca split for good. Welcome Back Walkers.

Most Missed Performer: Scott Evans, One Life To Live. There was something so easy and sexy about his Oliver Fish, and the fact that Scott is sexy didn't hurt matters. When he was fired along with on screen love Brett Claywell fans, including me cried foul. (Close runner up Van Hansis)
Best Storyline: Whose The Daddies, One Life to live. Sure the story is a cliche but theres a reason for that, when the story works it really works. Ron Carlivati crafted the story which saw sisters Jessica and Natalie each conceiving a child with two possible fathers. The twist in this sordid tale? The babies could also share a father in Jessicas boyfriend Brody. Each beat has twisted this story in a new direction, the latest of which, papa Clint had a lackey switch one paternity test but we don't know which one.
Best Actress: Laura Wright, Carly, general Hospital. Some people are scratching their heads right now wondering why my beloved Susan Lucci didn't take home the award. Its because she hasn't really driven story this year and she does make the most of what she's given her writing is pretty consistent. Lauras however is not. Carly is impulsive, chaotic and a truly unpredictable character. Somehow Laura always keeps Carly from going too far over the top by infusing her character with just enough empathy, just enough reason to keep her from being a cartoon.
Best Actor: Van Hansis, Luke As The World Turns. There was a number of eligible actors for this but Van took the cake. He guided his Luke through a break up with first love Noah to a flirtation and soon a genuine love story with Reid. Fans of both pairings fought endlessly about who Luke belonged with and the reason for that was the man in the middle, Luke aka Van. The soap superstar had chemistry with everyone and tailored his performances to the actor or actors he was playing against for a dizzying performance each and every time.
Best Show: General Hospital. I started the year not watching this show, I had been a loyal fan at one point but lost interest in it.This year though something happened, it became good again. I left it on one dayt and couldn't turn it off. The stories were foreign at first but soon became familiar and intriguing, I couldn't look away.

Royal Rant: Best And Worst Of 2010 pt 2
Most Addictive Show: Brothers And Sisters: The Walkers have always been one of my favorites but especially the last few weeks you can't turn your head without missing something. The cast is always impressive but Luke McFarland stands out.
Best Movie Actor: Leonardo Dicaprio. Shutter Island was a tour de force performance for him and Inception proved that he has the mettle to keep making action movies. Some sour pusses claim that his performance in Inception was the same as his Shutter Island but I disagree, the accent was the same but thats all.
Best Movie Actress: Kim Catrall. This was a tough catergory for me to choose but ultimately went with Samanths Jones, aka Kim Catrall. Sex And The City 2 was torn apart by the critics but Kim kept her signature character from falling apart unlike some of the other actress' (coughKristenDavisCough) Sam was going through menopause but Kim decided to keep Sams attitude in tact.
Best Movie: Shutter Island. The story, the acting everything flowed and meshed together perfectly. The twist at the end (I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it) put the movie over the top.

Pine Valley Is Being Shaken Up (Spoilers)
With the residents of Pine Valley and their millions of visitors experiencing de ja vu today and tomorrow, I thought it'd be nice to tide people over with some stuff thats coming up. All My Children seems to want to really shake up the canvas in the coming weeks and twist storylines around and charting new (old) territory. Heres whats coming up and what I think about it. Spoliers from Soap opera digest and Soap Opera Weekly.
Kendall shot David & blocked it out. Carruthers told AM about it a few weeks after the shooting taped. She was shocked but thinks it's a great twist and that it makes sense that Kendall would have in her mindset. Kendall has more prominent problems at the moment though. While arguing w/Erica she begins coughing & collapses into Caleb's arms. She has pneumonia. Griffin is her doctor & is having a difficult time keeping her in bed. Later, Kendall begins having hallucinations about David & she's feeling a pull to his room . She tells Erica who panics. While Kendall doesn't remember it appears David does as he says his first word at weeks end - Kendall's name.
Ok clearly the writers needed something shocking tow get Erica off the hook but this twist has been done before. Remember the Michael Cambias Murder Mystery? He raped Binks, she killed him and blacked it out. That being said I think this could be very interesting, if they follow through with it correctly and not sweep it under the rug.
Damon/Liza have sex. Damon's attempt to reconnect Liza/Colby fails miserably. Colby ends up confiding in Asher and the two kiss again. Damon catches them. Liza comforts Damon and they end up in bed. Tad stands by Damon who 'fesses up, but how about Liza? After David, she appears to be the least liked person in town.
Of course this would happen just as Damon is heading out of town. If the writers had taken advantage of the chemistry between Finn Wittrock and Jamie Luner when they first appeared opposite one another, then maybe the male half wouldn't be leaving.
Caleb realizes Erica is keeping a secret. Jack is left on the outside. He wants Caleb to save Erica but he sees they have a secret btw them. Erica is still affected by some of Jack's decisions of the past like not lying for her at Bianca's custody trial. Erica loves him but they're going through stuff.
I know I am in the very small miniority here but I hate Jack/Erica together. Jerica fans please don't kill me but I don't see the appeal of them together, Erica needs someone who is going to challenge her, bring out her spunky side. I don't know that Caleb is that man but neither is Jack. I wish they would re-pair her with David or better yet bring Dimitri back.
Jake's conflicted b/c everything he believed was true about his marriage ending isn't. Cara develops a friendship with both Tad and Kendall. Annie and Amanda find themselves in a similar place with ex's. Amanda is trying to calm Annie but Annie is pushing Amanda over the edge. Amanda will make rash decisions that end up endangering Cara.
Crazy Amanda? Yes please. Chrishell Stause is one of those actress' that can do anything she is charged with. I love Jake and Amanda as much as the other fans but adding Cara into the mix is a wonderful way to keep this couiple interesting and on the front burner, and is it just me or does Lindsay Hartley and Chrishell share insane chemistry? maybe Jake should be worried about Amanda and Cara forgetting him and setting up shop together with Bianca as a possible spoiler in their relationship.

Vanessa Not Pregnant
Apparently I was sleeping at the wheel because rumors were flying about General Hospitals comeback kid Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo being pregnant. A rumor which the daytime diva denies, saying she has put on some weight but for a health reason “Really? Why do people think that? Here’s the thing. I have no idea why they’re thinking that but I lost 15 pounds before I started the show, which I was not happy about, because I had a few health issues. I’m hyperthyroid and I had all these bad allergies and was figuring out what was going on, so I’ve been on the mend and trying to gain weight. I just gained six pounds but that’s because I'm trying to get back to my normal curvy-girl weight because I’d gotten a little skinny. Maybe that’s why I'm looking heavier? That’s so funny, as to how clueless I am. I didn’t even know that rumor is out there.” Vanessa needs not feel bad I didn't catch that rumor either. I even visited message boards and didn't hear a peep about her potentially being with child.

Ryan Says He's Happy
Yesterday news broke that Reese Witherspoon is engaged to her boyfriend agent Jim Toth. Ex-husband Ryan Phillippe decided to get a little press for himself and let the world know that he is thrilled for her "I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim, I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children." This is what gets me, why did he have to add the "for the mother of my children" in? We all know that he and Reese have kids, and if they are such "great friends" as he suggests why can't he be happy for his friend. This was some Hollywood maneuvering to either get some press or save face since none of Ryans relationships have really worked out since the divorce.
What do you think? Was Ryan being Sincere or trying to get some press?

Britney's Birthday Present To Me
There were three things I wanted for my birthday this year, James Franco to sweep me off my feet and marry me (the more I put it out there, the more likely it will happen), next I want Ke$ha (aka swamp thing) to disappear forever, seriously how many songs can she release that sound exactly like tik tok and still be hits? Anyways the third thing I wanted is new music from my beloved Britney Spears. And guess what, my dream is coming true.
The new song is called 'Hold it against me' and was produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke. According to radio programmer Sharon Dastur, who works at Z100 in New York the song is terrific, to which I say well duh!!

Elton John and his husband David Furnish are doing the crocodile rock today. They welcomed a son over the holiday weekend, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. Thats one long name for a baby to remember but he'll have a loving home with the two dads who seem to be over the moon, heres the statement they released "We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment. Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."

They Want To Be Just Like Us
Prince William is worth billions of dollars but he doesn't want us to think so. So when he and fiancee Kate Middleton tie the knot in April, there will be no domestic servants. A royal source reveals that Prince William isn't into acting like a rich person, so he and Kate have decided to ditch the extravagance and live like the paupers, almost. They will have bodyguards to protect them because well they are still royalty. “They want to do their duty and make sure they are a real asset to the country but they are private individuals who want to get on with their lives. Prince William is not into extravagance and, like any other young officer in the armed forces, that is how he chooses to live his life. He and Catherine live without domestic staff and they wouldn’t do it any other way. That’s the life they want to lead."
Sorry if I had as much money as the Royal family does, there would be a servant to do everything for me. You can't take the money to the grave so you might as well live as large as you can while you're here on earth. Would you live large or follow in Kate and Prince Williams lead and live small?

Who Wanted Damon Out Of Pine Valley?
If the drama that is occuring on screen were half as good as whats going on behind the scenes, All My Children would ascend to the top of the ratings heap. As we first reported Finn Wittrock is exiting the soap in the very near future.
Now a debate seems to be forming as to who actually wanted the stud to leave. On one side is that some very high level executives were not pleased with Finn or his performance, and that led to the creation of yet another long lost son and possible love interest for legacy character Colby Chandler.
On the other side of the debate is the group that says Finn is leaving of his own accord. This seems to be the side Soap Opera Digest is taking, in their recent issue they say a source told them “It’s true that some people [in positions of power] weren’t thrilled with him; they didn’t get his appeal. But plenty of other people did and would have fought for him [to stay]. It was his choice to only sign a one-year contract, and his choice not to sign a new one.”
Our friend Nelson Branco is seemingly taking the former stance and is glad that Damon won't be in PV anymore, but for the actors sake not because he doesn't like him. In last weeks 'Suds Report' he says "Regardless, Huckleberry Finn is one smart cookie: leaving AMC is the best decision he’s ever made."

Terri's New Show?
Terri Hatcher has been on a roll in 2010. Desperate Housewives continues to be a mega-hit and she earned some street cred with the teens by appearing as Lois Lane's (a role she famously played in the 90's) mom on Smallville. Now comes word that there is a new pilot being developed just for her. A source revealed that Terri got the news while working on DH "She got the good news on the final day of shooting Housewives before the holiday hiatus." The source continued to say that the show will have the same tone as Terri's biggest and arguably best gig to date "It's going to be a dark comedy in the Housewives tradition." and while not a spin off as many suspected would be the case, it will be produced by DH Creator Marc Cherry. There are rumors floating out there right now that it may be the new show we reported 2 weeks ago to the day.
As for Terri's castmates and how they feel about it. The answer is rather surprising, according to the source they are "also are thrilled with the news. They view Teri's pilot as a breakthrough opportunity for all of them," The reaction is not surprising because of it but rather the gossip of backstabbing and jealousy among the cast. It seems that, that can be put to bed once and for all now.
What do you think of Terri getting a new show?

Hurricane Nicole
She was larger than life, that much we already knew. Now some recently released documents, are claiming that Anna Nicole Smith nearly toppled the government of the Bahamas. "Not since Category 4 Hurricane Betsy made landfall in 1965 has one woman done as much damage in Nassau." Deputy Chief of Mission D. Brent Hardt said of the former reality star. In addition to being granted residency a month after applying resulting in Minister of Immigration, Shane Gibson resigning, many people investigating Ann Nicole son Daniels death was fired for mishandling the case.

The Story Of Michelle
The sqeal you heard last night was me when I first this news. Michelle Branch, one of my all time favorite artists is going to be working on a new album in the new year. According to the songstress this CD will be all about having fun and being creative. "I was in London - I've been working on a new record Julian Emrey and Jim Irvine, who are these two writers I met in LA. The first song we wrote together is a song called Spark, and we were so excited about it - it was the best writing day possible! It's great because they're writers and also producers. My favorite song that we wrote together was called The Story Of Us. It's a song that's really personal to me." Michelle goes on to say that she has 11 or 12 songs ready to record I have 11 or 12 songs ready to go right now and I'm going to go in studio in January and start recording them. I'm really confident I will have this record out by next summer." Can 2011 get any better musically? A new Britney Spears CD, New Lady Gaga and now new Michelle Branch. I could die a happy queen. Royal Rant: The End Of An Era
My birthday is coming up soon. 2 weeks after Christmas, I made my debut in this world and while this is normally a reason for me to get some drinking in, this year I'm scared to drink. Why? You ask. Because this year I cease being able to use the excuse that I am in my 20's and don't know better, this year I have to be a grown up and if I drink I may not stop.
See thirty has always been a milestone for me. I swore by the time I was 30 I would have millions of dollars, I would be a success. That is not theb case, unless one of my beloved gossipers want to give me those millions? Or James Franco wants to marry me!! That would make everything just a little better. Seeing as how thats probably not going to happen (love ya guys anyways) I have to contend with the fact I am nowhere near where I wanted to be at this stage in my life.
Many of my friends, whom I adore have told me that I am making a mountain out of a molehill. Sure that may be the case, it is a little known fact that I am a drama queen. If any of you make a snarky comment I will spit in your egg nog. They may be right, I can acknowledge that but it doesn't make it any easier for me. In fact it makes me feel worse about myself, since they think there is no problem.
I have joined a new site called seedbuzz and found this blog post about another person who felt the same way as I did about turning the dreaded number. So I'm not alone, in feeling like a failure since I haven't accomplished anything that I had wanted to. To get myself through it, I have made a list of goals to complete within the next 10 years of my life. Hopefully in 10 years I won't be as scared or sad to turn 40.
So if you happen to pass by a drunkard next month, be nice. Remember that could be me still enjoying my birthday.

AMCs New Opening Look
Its been almost 10 years since All My Children had an updated opening sequence, but starting today that comes to an end. The show will debut the fresher, more active spot during todays episode. Gone are the glamour shots, David Canary, Joe McDonnell and James Mitchell. In are fresh shots of the characters living their lives, and a sense of community. My favorite shot is of the Kane women in the last frame, but thats just my opinion. Executive Producer Julie Hanan Carruthers says "The thought was to be more true to the characters and make their environments and lifestyles more specific in order to give the audience a window into Pine Valley,"

Michelle And Ryan Play PR Game
Co-stars date all the time. It's a fact of life, but Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are taking the are they or aren't they gambit to a whole new level of awesome. Recently the pair sat down with Cynthia McFadden for an interview on Nightline, and Cynthia flat out asked if they were together. Ryan doesn't answer the question, instead puts his arm around Michelle. who grins and denies that they are together. Cynthia pushes on, trying to get a honest answer our of them, "I don't believe that,"
"I always look like I'm lying. It's just – that's my face." Ryan jokes. The pair has seemed cozy for quite some time, going back to the spring where pictures were taken of them holding hands at the Cannes film festival, promoting then just like they were now, Blue Valentine. Why is it every time a man and a woman are friends or are spotted out they are a new couple? Michelle and Ryan could just enjoy one anothers company and yet they are now having an added element of having to discuss their relationship. Of course them playing coy could be then ultimate PR game, look how well it has worked for Twilight, the now "confirmed" pairing of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson certainly helped those movies makes bundles of money. Ryan and Michelle could be hoping for the same kind of luck with their "dating."

Don't Ask, Write Porn
Rep. Louie Gohmert has some crazy things to say about Don't Ask Don't Tell being repealed. He alleges that gay people are not able to control their hormones and will mistake a signal from a colleague and "creep" into their bed.
If the good people of Texas ever decide to vote this guy out, he has a good chance at being a very successful porn writer. The thought of a hot army guy creeping into my bed gave me a little thrill if you know what I mean, and I think you do. He does throw in a line about it being all people he focused in on gay people and it makes me wonder how long it'll take until he is found in an airport bathroom trying to solicit another man for sex.
It is my (very Strong) belief that most homophobes, either don't know a gay person and they fear the unknown. Or they themselves are gay (coughTedHaggardcough) and are in such denial about it that it manifests itself as hatred. There is no other reason for the kind of hatred that they spew from their mouth, and their hearts. Please, please, please do not try and convince me that their religious reasoning is legitimate. Its not.
The bible says multiple things but for them to use the bible as a weapon is just wrong. For one thing it says in one of the most famous verses it says "Judge not, lest ye be judged." That seems pretty self explanatory to me but it shall be broken down for those that are having a hard time figuring it out. God should be the one and only judge, there is not one human in this world that is without sin. No one sin is greater than another, and if you truly repent then you will be forgiven by God. Not humans, especially religious leaders who are spreading hate. Which is yet another bible verse many tend to forget "Love thy neighbor."
Homophobia has no place anywhere in the world. Military people have always dealt with homosexuals sharing ranks but now it will be easier since they won't have to hide who they are. Friendships can truly blossom and loyalty forged now that DADT has been repealed. Politicians like Louie Gohmert need to keep their tales of fiction to the books that they are writing, or better yet, let's get a leg up on the porn they will soon be writing.

Ryan On Scarlett: She Treated Me Badly
Ryan Reynolds separation from soon to be ex wife Scarlett Johansson has been longer than what the public knew. According to multiple sources he told people on the set of Green Lantern that "It never seemed like she made him a priority." And Ryan commented that his marriage was in trouble, Ryan "would say that she treated him badly." To make matters even worse Scarlett doesn't seem to care about the break up, the source says "She was disconnected and disaffected"

Meet Dawson's New Family
James van Der Beek, the erstwhile Dawson Leery welcomed a baby girl recently and now he is introducing her to the world. The former Dawsons Creek star revealed that his wife Kim had a natural child birth “We were one of those couples who was all about natural birth. We had the right doctor, we had the right doula and the right nurse at the hospital, Kimberly did it as naturally as she could, but at the end of the day we were very glad we were in the hospital.” But lets not pretend you are reading the text, and stare at the baby. She's adorable. Her name for the record is Olivia.

Jason: They Don't Trust Me
How I Met Your Mother producers gave Jason Segel's character Marahsll a pregnancy scare recently. Marshall and Alyson Hannigans Lily thought that she may be with child. According to Jason that didn't go as expected “They watched the way I reacted to the pregnancy scare and it terrified them so I don’t think they will do that again to me for awhile. Everyone is terrified of me with a baby,” Segel continued. “They fear for the baby’s safety so I don’t think they are gonna rush the story too much because they don’t want to entrust me with a baby for filming. I think they are afraid that no parents will let me treat their baby like my own because I have no idea what I’m doing. It is like the old Bugs Bunny cartoon with the Abominable Snowman where he was holding the baby upside down and said ‘I’ll hug him and squeeze him.’ That’s me. He doesn’t stand a chance so casting could be real tough.” Somehow I don't think the teddy bear, Jason has become would have much of a problem acting opposite a baby. Do you?

Chrishell's What If
Remember the What If? webisodes from earlier this year? They featured ABC soap characters meeting others with a similar backstory or paiurs that fans wanted to see interact on screen. Chrishell Stause has a couple ideas for the pairings, she tweeted "Soapnet I have a "What If" for you. What if Billy Abbott, Annie McDermott, &Amanda Dillon all ran into each other at a bar w/ a photo booth?" Of course Chrishells All My Children character Amanda is now good friends with Annie McDermott played by Melissa Claire Egan. Billy Abbott, played by the adorable and super sexy Billy Miller is over in Geneoa City on The Young And The Restless. Pic above is Billy and Chrishell, the pic below is Chrishell and Melissa. One of them has the three together :-)

Bristol Palin took time away from being homophobic to comment on baby daddy Levi Johnston's new relationship "I have to be happy for Levi's new relationship,Because it sounds like his new girlfriend is influencing him to want to actually spend time with Tripp," The new relationship in question is with Waslia, Alaska resident and daycare employee Sunny Oglesby. The news hit facebook first as the playgirl model updated his relationship status to read as being in a relationship.

James: Why Not?
No he wasn't answering me when I proposed. At least not yet. Nope James Franco was asking why shouldn't he host the Oscars? He explains that producer Bruce Cohen asked him to help with the ceremony some way, and that eventually evolved into him co-hosting the awards. At first the hottie says he was hesitant to agree to it, “Then I thought about it and I thought, well, why not? Because I’ll look bad? Well, I don’t care.”
Apparently I was the only excited to hear he was co-hosting with Anne Hathaway because reports are saying that there was some nay sayers who think its a bad idea since its likely he will be a nominee as best actor that night. In fact his agents and "people" all told him not to agree to the gig, but that led to a revelation for him “So that always sparks something in me. So I said, ‘Yes, of course!’ Because that reaction that they have is based on conventional wisdom of what makes a good career. And that can be boring — really boring."
He's even willing to take his lumps if people don't think he does a good job, which I can't imagine being the case. “I’m happy to take the criticism. Even if it’s ‘The Worst Oscars Ever,’ I don’t care. It’s one night of the year.”

War Of Words Between NPH and Eric
New Daddy Neil Patrick Harris ignited a war of words with Young and The Restless star Eric Braden when he called the soap actor a d-bag. Neil blasted the actor for backing out of a cameo role on How I met your Mother, ""Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. The actor, (Robin's dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn't 'substantial' enough," Neil Patrick Harris wrote on Twitter. "We've recast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part 'substantial.' Super excited to welcome him to the family"
Eric didn't take kindly to Neil balsting him, and shot back "His choice of words bothered me,It seems to me like a young whippersnapper, having seen himself on a few covers, who’s received a few awards, is now suddenly suffering from the first signs of hubris. I’ve been in the business for 50 years. I’ve seen people come and go and I’m still here." Eric also noted that he was off for 3 weeks for surgery and has a ton of taping to do for his day job, and that he was "not about to appear on a show for two lines, because that’s what it amounted to."
Neil for his part apologized for the D-bag comment after he cooled off a bit "Now I feel bad for the D-bag comment, Don't know the guy personally. I'm just fiercely protective of our show."this was before Eric even made his comment. So Eric really just wanted to get himself some press. Sorry Y&R fans but what this amounts to is just someone wanting to see his name in print. Sure neil jumped the gun but he apologized and the situation was exasperated because Eric couldn't just let go, and if the role amounted to 2 lines then why not fulfill a commitment he had made?

Exclusive: Gleeks Want Cher
Last week in our poll, Gleeks world wide declared that they want to see a tribute episode to Cher. With 34% of the vote, the legendary diva was chosen to be the one fans want to hear Lea Michele and the gang tackle next. My suggestion would to be to center the episode around Chris Colfer's Kurt after he learns that Darren Criss' Blaine is not interested in him as anything more than a friend, can't you just hear Chris belting out "Believe"?
Prince and Elvis both came in second with 25% of the vote. those who want the Elvis tribute may be in luck, according to The National Enquirer the cast has been given the song list for such an episode. Maybe next season they will tackle the purple one.

Soap Sense: Primetime Edition
Worst Cancellation: Melrose Place 2.0: The show was hyped before it began and once it premiered we learned that the buzz was worth it. The show got off to a slow start but it was building and becoming better and better by the day. Heather Locklear and Katie Cassidy strutted their stuff and created a rivalry to remember, maybe they'll be able to recreate that one day.
Best Addition To A Show: Vanessa Williams, Desperate Housewives. This was a tough choice, Darren Criss almost took home the title but Vanessa has turned Wisteria Lane upside down and brought the camp back. Bringing the erstwhile Wilhemenia Slater to the show gave Lynette and Tom their best story in years (maybe ever) and it needs to be said, Vanessa Williams does not age.
Worst Waste Of Talent: Amber Riley, Glee. Mercedes is best friends with Kurt, a great potential rival for Rachel and dated Puck, yet she remains the only McKinley High student without a story to call her own. Much like the New Directions only trot Mer to wail on the final notes of a song, Glee writers/Producers only use Amber when they want to remind us that she is black and not a size zero. Seriously enough with Mercedes weight stories, its time for Amber Riley to get a chance to shine!!!
Guiltiest Pleasures: WipeOut and Hannah Montana. I admit it, I'm hooked on these shows. I didn't want to like either of them, Wipeout is a reality show and Hannah is a kids show. Yet I can not look away when either of them are accidentally (on purpose) turned on. Hannah is one of the best sitcomes around, and Miley Cyrus charms in the title role. Wipeout is truly a case of schadenfreude, you can't help but laugh when the contestants fall.

Best Comeback: David Hayward, All My Children. Sure many fans complained that they saw it coming but admit it, your jaw still dropped when they panned to David after Greenlee was sentenced to life in prison. The writers built the suspense perfectly and Vincent Irizarry played the straight man perfectly.
Worst Comeback: Vanessa Marcil, General Hospital. Currently Vanessa's return to General Hospital is the sites most read story but the actual return fell flat. Islanding the dynamic Vanessa in Rome with new, albeit intriguing characters made the show suffer a great deal. Once the story picked up in Port Charles it became the Brenda Hour and fans resented it, rather than welcoming home their diva, and that is truly sad.
Casting Dream We'd love To See: (tie) Van Hansis as Petey Cortland and Jake Silberman as Jamie Martin, AMC. On As The World Turns they were paired together and formed supercouple NUKE, on AMC the two could go head to head as rivals, Van would have chemistry with a tree so mustering chemistry with Colby would be no problem, Jake could have his pick of leading ladies but how great would he be with Rebecca Budigs Greenlee.
Best Use Of Talent: Days Of our Lives: Every new character that is brought in generates story for veteran characters as it should be. Days better than any other soap uses the history of their vets to drive current story and keep the show grounded.
Worst Recast: Eden Riegel, Young And The Restless: Eden is still a terrific actress, that hasn't changed. She is woefully miscast in the role of Heather though. the writers know they have a dynamo in Eden but they don't know or can't decide what to do with her and its the fans who pay.
Best Recast: Christina Bennet Lind . No, my sense haven't taken a leave. Christina still is no Eden Riegel but seeing as she wasn't available to reclaim the role of Bianca they had no choice but to recast. Christina has taken time to light the fire under her, but she has taken the role and is slowly making it hers.

Blind: She Cut Adulterer
Ted C
Before you start feeling too sorry for poor, mixed-up, closeted celeb Butter P*ssy and how the babe’s scared coming out will affect her and her loved ones’ incomes, listen up. Butter’s hardly a saint.
Far from it.
Sometime ago, Ms. P*ssy, who’s really fabulous at her very celebrated career, came home from a hard day’s work and her man happened to be home. But he wasn’t alone:
Butter found the partner she genuinely cared for—but whom she also conveniently used (a lot) to help sell her fake heterosexuality to the gullible public—in bed. With company. And it wasn’t another chick, either!
Butter’s man was in bed with…one of Ms. P*ssy’s employee’s. How awful! How humiliating! How dĂ©classĂ©!
So, Butter-babe did what any megastar worth her very butch reputation would do: She got a knife and threatened to “cut” the philandering partner. And guess what?
She did! Badly. So much so, the sliced-up dude had to be taken to the hospital—and his recovery took some time.
Now, to make up for things, the cheating dude who got knifed by the always well-coiffed and formidable Butter P*ssy gets regular paychecks, per their postknifing financial arrangement.
And some folks think the guy’s sticking around (and getting to enjoy the fancy life), just to help Butter parlay that straight-chick image.
Well, maybe a little—and maybe a little because both players here do still care for each other. But trust, those aren’t the emotional ties than bind them.
It’s blood. Literally.
