Glee Spoliers: Jesse Not What You Think

Lea Michele dropped some hints about her storyline with Jonathan Groff, who plays love interest Jesse St James to her Rachael. While many people suspect that Jesse is a spy for a rival Glee club, Lea says not so fast “The thing is, the storyline for Jesse, whatever reason why you think he’s there is absolutely not why he’s there,” she revealed. “When I read the script, I couldn’t believe it.”

Niecy: I Love Food

Niecey Nash wasn't offended by Len Goodmans comment about her being an "Enthusiastic eater." The Dancing With The Stars contestant said "I was not offended, "I like to eat, and I think we're talking about two different things: my love of food and my weight. When I wanted to lose weight, I lost 50 pounds."

Molly's Surprising Talent

While promoting her new book 'Getting Pretty Back: Friendship, family and finding the perfect lipstick' Molly Ringwald has dropped a few bombshells. "I trained to be an opera singer for about six months until I realized that I didn't particularly care for opera." the former teen idol also revealed "I'm a jazz singer."

She also believes in gay marriage "I am a fierce advocate for every individual's right to marry."

Paris Sued Again

Paris Hilton once again is being sued by investors in her 2006 bomb 'Pledge This!' Previously they had tried to sue the heiress for $8.3 million in damages, because they alleged Paris failed to promote the movie and had 9 instances of denying interviews for the film. This time they are suing for $1 million in restitution for the same reasons as the lawsuit. It is unclear how the judge will rule but last time he ruled in favor of the former reality star.

MIramax/Disney Lawsuits

Nicole Fosse, heiress to choreographer Bob Fosse is filing a lawsuit against Miramax and Disney along with John Kander and the estate of Fred Ebb. The lawsuit alleges that the companies used bad accounting practices and under paying them royalties.

Lea No Romance With Matthew

Tabloid reports that Glee stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison had an affair back in 2007 when both were in hit broadway shows, Lea in Spring Awakening and Matthew in South Pacific. Lea didn't want to address the issue but she did “Oh my goodness. I really don’t have to answer that [report]. I’ve known Matt for years. He’s been a friend of mine from New York, People are going to make things up. I think it’s just because we really are so close and everybody seriously is such a family [on ‘Glee’].”

She also drops another bomb, she is dating someone, just not a co-star “He’s a theater guy. He works on Broadway,”

Melissa Talks Divorce

Melissa Etheridge is taking a lot of heat for her divorce from ex wife Tammy Lynn Michaels, so now the rocker is opening up a little more about it. “I know that my children just want me to be happy,” but the kids also make the divorce hard “That’s the hardest part, is kids, I think that I am a success at my life if can be happy, so I think they support that.”

Rosie Blasts Lindsays Mom

The always out spoken Rosie O'donnell is not happy with what is going on with Lindsay Lohan right now. “Lindsay Lohan needs a severe intervention, She’s a kid from Exit 51 on Long Island… that’s exactly where I grew up,” she told Access. “There were like five people that were famous in the area where we grew up and she’s one of them, and it makes me very sad."

Rosie continues and questions why Lindsays mother Dina doesn't step in “Lindsay Lohan’s mother grew up one town over from where I did. I’m the same age as her mother, I look at Lindsay and think, ‘That could be my child.’ Literally. And all I want to do is help her and save her and I wonder why her mother does not.”

Elton Got Sober 20 Years Ago

Elton John was in Indianapolis to perform for a benefit celebrating the life of Ryan White. Ryan was young child when he contracted HIV through a tainted blood transfusion in the mid 80's, Ryan died in 1990.  Elton maintains that Ryan helped to change his life“It was one of the greatest things in my life to meet Ryan’s family, to be there the last week to try and help, and then for that wonderful message that he gave me to change my life around, It was weird to take stock and think of it — I’m 20 years sober this year, and it’s 20 years since Ryan died, because I got sober shortly afterward.”

I'd like to take a moment from the gossip and fun things to say thank you!!!! This is a milestone I never expected to reach and because of each and everyone of you I have. This site has undergone many changes over the last 2 months while I figure out what works (Sundays obviously do!!!) And what doesn't (Apparently you guys don't like my snark, unless it's live)

My very first post was Kathy Griffin's f bomb on CNN and since then we have seen many dramas unfold, Sandra Bullocks divorce (which I have been praised for not over doing it like some sites) and Lindsay Lohan (people wish I would leave 'the poor girl alone')

1 Million Dollars To Get Sober???

The trainwreck known as Lindsay Lohan was offered a cool 1 million dollars to appear on the VH1 hit Celberity Rehab and it's spin off Sober House. A third possible spin off was planned if she agreed. Which she did not, sources close to the star claim that the actress doesn't think that she has a problem.

Star is reporting that American Idol front runner Crystal Bowersox secretly married her boyfriend Tony Kusian. Allegedly the couple had a double ceremony with Crystal competition on the reality show Michael Lynche and his wife, earlier this month while on an American Idol field trip, earlier this month. Kelly Won't Be Getting Married

Jake: Potrait Of A Media Whore?

After he choose Vienna out of 25 women on The Bachelor, Jake Pavelka moved on to ABCs other hit reality show 'Dancing With The Stars'. This week the former pilot was eliminated from the competition and seemed to be genuinely distraught about it. However behind the scenes the crew is painting a very different picture. One 'source' claims that right after the cameras stopped rolling Jake moved away from his Dancing partner Chelsie Hightower. Chelsie was comforted by her boyfriend and fellow pro dancer Mark Ballas. The source says that there was a strain in their alleged friendship as it was. "She tries to help Jake, pointing out where he went wrong in rehearsal. But he feels Chelsie's picking on him."

Another confession came out of his elimination on Tuesday! Chelsie didn't see fit to vote for Jake, she says she forgot and then claimed that her cell phone and laptop suddenly went missing or were broke. Hmmm

Laura Bush is opening up in her new memoir and is giving an honest, frank look inside her marriage and her life. In one passage she discusses how she begged her husband then President George W Bush not to make gay marriage a big issue. The passage reads: “In 2004 the social question that animated the campaign was gay marriage, Before the election season had unfolded, I had talked to George about not making gay marriage a significant issue. We have, I reminded him, a number of close friends who are gay or whose children are gay. But at that moment I could never have imagined what path this issue would take and where it would lead.”

Courtney Clears Up Name Change

Courtney Love was on The View Today and she wanted you to know that she has not changed her name.She says she told an English tabloid reporter that her middle name is Michelle  "Off the record I told this guy that," but she continued "I didn't change my name to the artist formerly known as Courtney, my name is Courtney Love."

Guest 'Stars' Praise Sex And The City

Liza Minnelli loved her time filming Sex and The City 2. The set up for her appearance is Carrie's gay best friend Stanford Blatch marries his boyfriend and the wedding singer is none other than Liza with a Z herself. Of her time she says "It's a wonderful number, "We had a blast."

Liza also elaborates on her scenes a little more, "It's rock and roll. Everything is moving! And I just got a whole new knee, so I can promise you everything is moving!"

Miley Cyrus also praises the production. The tween superstar says that she was done filming rather quickly "It was the best job I've ever done,"

Riverdale Gets Gay

Riverdale, the fictional location of the beloved Archie comics is welcoming a gay teenager. Kevin Keller will appear for the first time in Veronica #202 which will be released on September 1, 2010. Cartoonist Dan Parent elaborates on the new direction "In the last year or two, we've been introducing a lot of new characters: Diverse characters, characters with different ethnicities. With trying to be diverse, we wanted to have everybody at the table, We knew at some point we wanted to introduce a gay character, and when I came up with the story idea, we felt it worked in context with this story."

Brothers And Sisters Casting News!

Fans of Brothers And Sisters get ready to be happy. Ready? Ok, Showrunner David Marshall Grant informed Michael Auseillo that Giles Marini, who plays Sarah Walkers french lover Luc boyfriend will become a series regular next season.

But while Sarah is keeping her bf, she will be losing her half brother Ryan. Luke Grimes has reportedly finished his run with the show. David says that no other casting changes are being made at this time Rob Lowe has already announced that he was leaving “There may be an episode or two that some [characters] might not be in but aside from Rob [and Luke], the [entire] cast is returning.”

Jesse Reacts To Divorce And Adoption

This morning the world learned that Sandra Bullock had filed for divorce from her husband Jesse James and has adopted a baby boy. Jesse says "The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart."

He also talks about how he hopes that no one is judging his soon to be ex wife. "I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong. She played no part in any of this. She has been an amazing wife, mother, and best friend, for the over 6 years we have been together."

Bret Update: Suffers Setback

Bret Michaels has suffered a minor setback on his road to recovery. He was suffered a type of stroke called subarachnoid hemorrhage, which causes bleeding around fluid filled spaces in the brain. His rep released this statement "Michaels remains under 24-hour observation in the ICU and is in positive spirits. He is responding well to tests and treatments,  Even though today was a minor setback, doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery."

Kelly's Wild Birthday Bash

Sandra Has Filed FOr Divorce

Sandra Bullock's world was rocked, just 10 short days after her triumph at the Oscars by her husband Jesse James' cheating scandal. Now the Oscar winner has filed for divorce, she told People "Yes, I have filed for divorce," America's sweetheart also admitted "I'm sad and I am scared."

And in another shocker Sandy also revealed that she has adopted a son, 3 1/2 month Louis, More details as they become available.

Is A New feud Brewing On Dancing With The Stars?

Mondays episode of Dancing With The Stars may have sparked a new feud between Judge Len Goodman and Dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy (aka Maks). The fight stems from Len's assessment that Maks tearing off his shirt was a ploy.  "I'm fed up, Maks, with shirts coming off!"

Maks went to Us to state his opinion of the oldest judge. "Len is wrong one billion percent, He said we didn't have enough substance in samba. Are you out of your mind? I could give you a list right now, probably would take about three pages, of all the steps we did in samba. This is what I do for a living! I know that not everyone knows what goes into this, but I go back to running four very successful dance studios. I have a staff of about 50. I have trained a ton of US champions and world champions, and I've coached [everyone] from juveniles to professionals. Don't tell me what I didn't do right because you're wrong! And if that means you're too old to be on this show and judge, then that's what it means. My job here is to support Erin, to teach her, and to try to show her what to do,"


Maks also said that Len should not be surprised to find himself reading these comments "He can't say that stuff without expecting me to say something back, This is my job. If you're going to call me out, expect me to defend myself."

Courtney Slept With Gavin While He Was Married To Gwen?

Oh What tangled webs we weave, when first we choose to deceive. The singer formerly known as Courtney Love is alleging that she slept with a married man. Not just any married though, Gwen Stefani's husband Gavin Rossdale. The singer says that she had "vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time ... We were like, 'Let's go spend our rock star money!'"

During the alleged 8 month relationship Courtney said that many gave her a hard tome because of her husband, Kurt Cobain. "Everyone gave me so much s--- because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt...." Love said. "But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed ... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know."


Howard Stern, who was conducting the interview asked if she was sleeping with him while he was a married man. "Everyone ... yeah ... and a few other people,We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit."

Bret On the Road To Recovery?

Wally Sychak, Bret Michaels father is letting everyone know that his son is improving slowly. He told Extra "The fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great," The hopeful father continued " "sounded a little slow, but fine, He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way."

He also says the former frontman for Poison is beginning to move his limbs again. "They say he's moving his arms and hands, The best as they could expect at this time." 

Matt To Be A Daddy Again

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana  are expecting their third child together. Matts rep only said "Everybody is excited."

Is Lindsay Living With AIDS?

Leave it to Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael to create some sort of drama every day. This time some mysterious tweets appeared on Michaels twitter account and there are some shocking allegations in them, including that the fading star is living with HIV and that she carried on an affair with music mogul Tommy Mottola, Yep Mariah Careys ex husband when she was just 17 years old. The tweets read “It’s time you learned the truth. The truth about Tommy Motolla (sic) engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter,” and was followed by “the truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made.”

Michael denied being the one behind the tweets and has claimed he asked the authorities to find the person responsible for the "criminal acts" Lindsay however is not buying it “He’s a grown man and has done the exact same things on TV/interviews, [so] why wouldn’t he lie on Twitter, and everywhere else! He just wants money – and he’s using me, my name, my status, my mother, brothers and sister for the cash to pay for [another] wedding."

You are great!!! I love the fact that you do not cover every single Sandra Bullock story in an attempt to get more people to read your blog. I went to Perez and TMZ and 90% of the stories on each site were about Sandra or whatever the big story was for that day. I applaud you for having the integrity to look at other celebs and trying to bring us information on some of the other drama happening in and around Hollywood. You are truly a class act!!

Thank yopu for spotlighting Idina Menzel for your Profile Of The Week this week. She has been my favorite actress ever since I seen her in Rent. I love that you spotlight different people each week, people that most of the press doesn't ever think of or they pushed to the back of the pile.

I found your site by mistake one day, I had been looking for a story on soaps and found it here. I love how you blend and treat soaps  just like the rest of the entertainment industry; with respect and dignity. Though I did take issue with a Mandy's Musings where she blasted characters of soaps for the way they act. The one that sent me over the edge was that of Jesse Hubbard on AMC. He is protecting his loved ones and has always bent the rules to do that.

The great thing about this site is that even if we disagree with your opinion, theres enough stories that you draw us right back in, and as I have discovered about you, you lay it on the line. Your Helping Hand advice column has to be the best of the best, you call out the people who deserve it and give good practical advice. keep up the good work!

The push to get an all Britney episode of Glee is gaining momentum. Ryan Murphy has already said he's open to it and now one of the stars is coming out in support of the idea. Jenna Ushkowitz says that she has been anticipating doing a rendition of  "....baby one more time." Jenna goes on record "I would so not be against a Britney episode. I'm such a huge fan. It would be so much fun."

Susan On David: It's Sad

Fans aren't the only ones saddened by David Canary's recent retirement from 'All My Children'. His co-star for many years Susan Lucci is devastated. "I knew that David was thinking of retiring and I was always sad at the thought of it. I wish he could be persuaded not to retire, but that is not in the cards. I can't imagine Pine Valley without Adam Chandler and David Canary playing him."

Susan and David were frequent scene partners especially in recent years when their formerly married characters seemed to be on the brink of giving a relationship another go. David informed the higher ups at the show his intention to leave but extended his stay with the death of off screen friend, on screen enemy James Mitchell. he wanted to help celebrate not only Mitchells character Palmers life but also James'.

Max On Kim: It Wasn't A Walk In The Park

As fans get excited for Sex And The City 2, Kim Cattralls love interest in the sequel is opening up a bit. He says playing against Kim's sex kitten Samantha isn't easy, "It wasn't a walk in the park," but he continues to praise the message of the movie  "That's a serious challenge, I'm going to be honest with you! Especially when I first started to look at the movie, I was like, 'Wow, I really have something to figure it out here!' . It's really all about the [female] characters in the movie; they all have the essence of what life is."

What Caused Bret's Brain Hemorrhage?

E's Leslie Gorstein asked a neurosurgeon what caused Bret Michaels brain hemorrhage and whether or not it could be related to his diabetes. The doctor said that it was unlikely thats what caused the problem for the recent reality star. Dr. Arno H. Fried says "It's hard to link the two,  "If Michaels had had a stroke, for example, and the bleeding was from a stroke, then you could have a direct link."

Another popular theory was almost discredited; that one being the head injury he suffered at the 2009 Tony's. "There is something called a traumatic aneurysm, caused by injury, Usually you know about those sooner than a year after the injury. But it is still conceivable"

Pop Princess Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick went to a Los Angeles medical center on Sunday, they appeared to be in a great mood going in. However when they came out, Brit was crying and Jason looked confused.

SouthLAnd Renewed

TNT has renewed the police drama SouthLAnd ending months of speculation about the shows future. The show debuted to solid numbers and critical acclaim on NBC but when the peacock network decided to have Jay Leno on at 10 Pm every night they canceled the show. TNT stepped in and picked the show and has now decided that their decision was the right one, a rep says “Southland is a challenging, visceral show that engages viewers with its immersive style, provocative storylines, and complex characters, “These qualities have made Southland a favorite among critics and appointment viewing for an extremely loyal audience.”

ABC: We Want OLTL To Succeed

ABC is attempting to squash those pesky cancellation rumors again. In response to the out cry stemming from the news that ABC is developing a talk show with reality star Tori Spelling. However TV Guide is reporting that it is under the ABC Media Productions umbrella and not necessarily for the network itself. Often the company sells shows to other networks such as TLC, Soapnet, and SyFy.  According to ABC Daytime PR Chief Jori Petersen “We want OLTL to succeed and are doing everything we can to facilitate that, We want the show to be fantastic and robust. There are no plans for cancellation."

Young Casting Shocker

Sean Young is joining the cast of 'The Young And The Restless' according to People.com. Young's role will be Meggie, a 'sultry barmaid who will mix it up with Victor Newman'. Victor is played by her co-star in the movie 'Man Who Came Back' Eric Braeden. Young issued this statement "Getting the chance to work with my dear friend Eric Braeden, one of the true gentlemen in entertainment, was certainly a deciding factor for me as well as wanting to get back to work after taking a few years off to raise my kids, As of now, Victor has been arrested for the murder of his son, Adam, but that doesn't mean he killed him; his other son, Nick, is also under arrest, even though Victor has since confessed to the murder. What may be afoot is a longer story arc, in which we're going to find out that Adam faked his death. Perhaps Meggie is someone who's connected to Adam in some way? For now, we can only speculate."

Profile Of The Week: Idina Menzel

Idina Menzel never ceases to amaze. Her first professional role was as Maureen in Rent, and netted her her first Tony nomination in 1997. She moved on to some other huge roles including originating the role of Dorothy in Summer of '42, Shelia in Hair and Amneris in Aida. In 2003 her life would change forever; she would be cast in a little musical called Wicked.

Her role as Elphabab would bring her to the national spotlight along with 'frienimie' Kristin Chenoweth. Rumors of an alleged rivalry between the two powerhouse actress began almost immediately. Kristin for her part has denied they hate one another, saying that when you're in a production like that it's like a "family" 

She cracked her rib on her third to last performance and was not able to perform, however on January 9, 2005 what would have been her final performance, she made a special out of costume appearance and sang her last song. For that rendition she received a 5 minute long standing ovation. She would also walk away wit a Tony for best leading actress in a musical.

Idina is married to Private Practice star Taye Diggs,and the couple have a son. Idina has been married to Taye for 7 years and they dated for another 7 before that. Both are involved in TV projects at the moment. Taye of course is on the ABC hit Private Practice, and Idina is guest starring on the hotter than ever Glee. Will she reunite with former co-star and alleged enemy Kristin, who is also reprising her role as April? No one is commenting but it is very doubtful at this point, sadly.

Alicia: I Can't Wait To Be Pregnant

This weekend made her debut in Time Stands Still, and earned phenomenal reviews. Something else happened during her first performances during the play, her maternal instincts awoke. "Wearing a pregnancy suit was so much fun, I loved the feeling of pretending to be pregnant and having little arms and legs and this big belly."
