Say Goodbye To BJ
TNT announced just a few moments ago that its signature series The Closer will end its run next year. Though it hasn't been confirmed the press release hinted that this may not be the networks decision but star Kyra Sedgwick. Still Warner Brothers head honcho Peter Roth gives nothing but love to the series star “Kyra Sedgwick has distinguished herself not only as an extraordinary actress, but as a remarkable set leader and presence on THE CLOSER, The series has literally changed the face and course of both TNT and Warner Bros. Television, and we will always be grateful for all that she has contributed toward that success.”
Network Programmer Michael Wright also felt the love for Kyra “Kyra blazed a new trail in the television landscape with her performance as Brenda Leigh Johnson, Like her many fans, we will miss her terribly, and we will be forever grateful for the time we got to spend with her.”
