Epic Casting Declined

Fans have waited patiently for the return of former All My Children star Alexa Havins. Her character babe was one of the most crucified in the history of soaps but the actress enjoyed a popularity rivaled only by that of Susan Lucci.

So when producers decided to recast Babes newly found twin it made sense that they would reach out to the actress. However she eventually declined the invitation to return and the show proceeded to hire former As The World Turns actress Sarah Glendening to take over the misconceived role of Marissa.

Unless the show decides to create a new character for her, Alexa may now never return to the show that turned her into a starlet. Babe is dead, and not soap opera dead, the audience actually seen her dead body and if the rile of Marissa is taken there may be nothing she can do to return. Unless of course mama Krystal really had triplets or the show takes a cue from sister soap General Hospital and puts her in a new role altogether, like GH did with Sarah Joy Brown.
