An author is suing Oprah for plagiarism and copyright infringement. Charles Harris is alleging that when Oprah endorsed President Barack Obama's campaign back in 2008, she used passages from his political booklet "How America Elects Her Presidents." The author also claims that Oprah reading the passages "caused and will continue to cause Plaintiffs to suffer substantial injury, loss and damage to its property and exclusive rights...and further has damaged Plaintiffs' business reputation and goodwill, diverted its trade and caused a loss of profits all in an amount not yet ascertained." Umm yes, if Oprah wanted to read anything we wrote, we would gladly let her. Charles however is seeking $150,000 in damages
