Each week Gossipers are invited into the mind of Mandy's Musings writer/creator Mandy Bates. Writing her column comes naturally to her because she lets loose with her opinion whether it is going to be controversial or not.
An avid fan of soaps Mandy has no problem taking to task the writers and/or actors who are not living up to expectations (we're looking at you Brittany Allan.) Quite a few times over the course of her column she has blasted The powers that be for boneheaded moves, like firing KISH, or for forgetting who their audience is. Recently she has taken to task Pretty Little Liars for encouraging young girls to have sex with older men.
Outside of her column Mandy is very ambitious, a single mother who is teaching her son that education is the most important thing. Mandy is back in school for sonography and despite a hectic work schedule, she makes sure that she is in class making the most of her schooling.
Mandy is an all around good person, as well as being a superstar columnist for this site. And might I also add that she is one of my best friends!!
