As the daytime trend of shocking casting changes continues word is that Drew Garrett may be joining the cast of The Young and The Restless in the role of Noah Newman. The characters former portrayer Kevin Schmidt tweeted on Tuesday "Y&R FANS: I have not be asked to return as "Noah Newman". A huge thank you to the cast and crew! Onward and upwards!" Y&R has not yet commented on the matter.
The other matter that they have not commented on is whether or not Eden Riegel has been let go. A source revealed "Eden didn't catch on with the fans like the producers had hoped she would. Now its a matter of when she leaves, not if." This comes as quite a shock since Eden decided to take the role of Heather on daytimes #1 show rather than slip back into the comfortable role of Bianca on All My Children.
