Mel Gibsons tirade against his former girlfriend Oskana Grigorieva has been the talk of Hollywood for the last 2 weeks. While most people won't even talk about or to Mel, the tides are slowly changing and people are giving Oskana the side and wondering if she set up the former A list actor. Now reports are coming out that Oskana may have been blackmailing Mel and when he didn't give in she turned the tapes over to Radar Online. This may be a case of two wrongs don't make a right, sure Mel shouldn't have said a lot of what he did, but if in fact Oskana did set him up, people need to wonder why she would do that to someone you at one time claimed to have loved. 


Former Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans resigned this week, and immediately the rumor mill began churning, why did he do it? Did the mayor fire him? The answer as we learned was yes the resignation was forced, for a multitude of reasons. Of those reasons 2 stand out head and shoulders above the rest, his relationship with Monique Patterson a lieutenant in his direct control. Why is it that whenever a scandal hits there is always a relationship at the center of it? While Warren does make a point that 2 single adults should be able to enter a consensual relationship, however when both adults work in the same department and one is a supervisor who has the power to decide promotions, raises etc, extra care does need to be taken. The second reason for the forced resignation is a sizzle video (something that is shown to network execs to get get them to buy a show) for a potential reality show (see video above). This "blindsided" Mayor Dave Bing and was a poor lapse of judgement on Warrens  part. Once again someone got to full of himself and didn't think of the consequences.\
