What can be said about this week? Celebrities sure made things very interesting, and leading the pack was of course Lindsay Lohan. She was fired from a movie this week, because she is more of a liability than an asset. That wasn't the big news though, no the big news came from a mysterious tweet that appeared on her father Michael Lohans tiwtter account, they had some serious allegations contained in them “It’s time you learned the truth. The truth about Tommy Motolla (sic) engaging in an affair with my then-17 year old daughter,” and was followed by “the truth about my daughter living with HIV for the rest of her life as a result of the decisions she has made.” (Check back with us at 2pm to read the newest GG Exposes on Tommy Mottola) As if that wasn't bad enough VH1 and Dr Drew Pinsky made a very public offer to get Lindsay on the hit reality shows Celebrity Rehab and Sober House. They offered her 1 million dollars to do both shows and a possible third spinoff, Lindsay was put out and said she doesn't know why people are "attacking" her.
Rosie O'Donnell had to chip in on the insanity surrounding Lindsay. Instead of blasting the starlet though, the outspoken talk doyenne went after Lindsays mom Dinah for allowing this travesty to happen. "All I want to do is help her and save her and I wonder why her mother does not.”
Another story that got little to no press (OK I'll stop with the sarcasm here) Sandra Bullock filed for divorce form Jesse James, and revealed that she had adopted a 3 1/2 month baby boy. Sandra let us in on how she was feeling "I'm sad and I am scared." Why did Sandra choose now of all times to let the world in on her secrets? Allegedly Life and Style magazine was set to run the story of her adoption. Someone inside her camp heard about it and Sandy decided she was going to take ownership of the story and went to People with the exclusive.
Jesse James reacted to all the news, saying that he made the hard decision to let Sandy "continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest" He also made a plea for people to keep an open mind in regards to his soon to be ex wife, I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong. She played no part in any of this. She has been an amazing wife, mother, and best friend, for the over 6 years we have been together." As Mandy said in a comment on the story "Of all the stuff I've read and heard, I've never heard anyone bashing Sandra in all this"
While Sandra and Jesse were dissolving their marriage, 2 high profile stars came out in support of gay marriage. Emmy Winner Kristin Chenoweth, who is an outspoken Christian said that she doesn't understand the churches position on the controversial topic, "God doesn't make mistakes. People are born how they are born. And I think people should be able to get married and love each other.” While the blonde Goddess is supporting the movement so is a former teen idol. Molly Ringwald while promoting her new book 'Getting Pretty Back: Friendship, Family and Finding the Perfect Lipstick' Molly told Usweekly "I am a fierce advocate for every individual's right to marry."
Bret Michaels was rushed to the hospital last weekend due to a brain hemorrhage. There were a lot of stories circulating this week, the most hopeful came from the rockers father Wally Sychak. Wally said "The fact that he was talking to me, and giving me information, I thought that was great," The hopeful father continued " "sounded a little slow, but fine, He was talking, not as cheerful as he usually is. But I guess he is under sedation. But he understood what he was saying and knew me. Everything seemed good that way."
Courtney Love sent shockwaves throughout the music industry, and tabloids when she announced that she had sex with Gavin Rossdale. " he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed ... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know." Courtney also alleges that Gwen may have known about the affair. So far we only have Courtneys word as Gavin and Gwen have yet to comment.
