More than 30 Governors received a letter from 'extremist' group Guardians Of The Free Republic, giving them 3 days to step down or be "removed" FBI officials warned local police that while they do not believe this group is violent but may encourage violence in others.
Among the governors that say they received a letter are Jennifer Granholm from Michigan, Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Chet Culver of Iowa and Jim Gibbons of Nevada. Precautions are being taken within each state, in Nevada they added screening machines for both packages and visitors to the capital. Deputy Chief of Staff Lynn Hettrick says "We're not really overly concerned, but at the same time we don't want to sit back and do nothing and regret it,
On their website are some alarming statements including "After a year of face-to-face negotiations with high-ranking members of the armed forces of the united States of America, the leaders of the freedom movement have joined together to bring you a four step comprehensive remedy—the Restore America Plan—whereby the military has agreed to follow the orders of the legitimate de jure government upon proper restoration and execution."
