In what has to be the weirdest casting news in a while, Alan Cumming has revealed that Inglorious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino will be the voice actor for Brainy Smurf.
Tarantino will be joining the Jonathan Winters as Papa Smurf, singer Katy Perry as Smurfette, George Lopez as Grouchy Smurf, and Neil Patrick Harris as the human protagonist, The role of Smurf villain Gargamel has yet to be cast. Though Cumming says that the producer are in negotiations with someone "fabulous".
